A One-Day Personal Retreat

A complete, realistic one-day retreat schedule for clarity, rest, and time away from constant input.

One day, clearly bounded

Begin before the day with food, a notebook, and an out-of-office message. At 8:00, put the phone away. Walk at 9:00 without audio. At 11:00, write on one question. Keep lunch simple and unhurried.

At 14:00, protect an empty hour. At 16:00, sort what you are carrying into keep, question, and release. At 19:00, write a short letter to the next chapter. Close by deciding when ordinary input resumes.

If a full day is not available, preserve the sequence and shorten the intervals.
