Personal Retreats

A grounded guide to creating purposeful time away—at home, nearby, or farther afield.

A retreat you design yourself

A personal retreat is protected time with a simple intention, a boundary around ordinary demands, and enough structure to keep the pause from dissolving. It can last two hours or seven days. It can happen at home.

The purpose is not to force insight. It is to make conditions where reflection, rest, or clear attention becomes more possible.

Four decisions

Choose what you are stepping away from, what you need more of, how much time is honest, and where you can be both undisturbed and safe. Then make a light schedule with a beginning, a middle, and a deliberate close.
